Get in a car that is already comfortable

Set a departure time and your Volvo starts its climate control before you leave.

Tell it when you leave and how many minutes of head start you want. It sends your car the climate command that many minutes before, so the cabin is already at the temperature the car is set to — warm in winter, cool in summer — rather than whatever the weather left it at.

You connect with your existing Volvo ID. There is no separate account and no password here.

This is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Volvo Car Corporation in any way. It works through Volvo's public developer API, which Volvo may modify, suspend or withdraw at any time and without notice. If that happens your schedules will stop running, possibly without warning. Please do not depend on it for anything that matters.

What it cannot do

Volvo's API has no way to report what your car's climate control is doing, what the cabin temperature is, or what target you set — so this cannot show you any of that. It also cannot stop climate control once started, and it cannot set the temperature. The car uses the target you set in the car, and switches itself off after about 30 minutes.

Running climate control uses energy from your car. That is your cost, and scheduling it here is you asking for it.
